My San Dimas is famous now!!!!

As you all know I am very proud of my Jackson "Bela"..... It is now famous, I received a call a couple of months ago & was asked if Phil Could use my Bela in a photo shoot for a magazine. I have to say I was totally floored to hear Phil ask if he could use my guitar.......it isn't everyday your guitar idol borrows your guitar. Anyway because Phil's is on display @ the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame for 2 years I was able to loan my guitar to my Guitar Idol for a photo shoot, How awesome is that?



The new issue of Guitar Aficionado With Billy Gibbons on the cover has this photo featured in it:

Yes, I talk to Phil all the time, we normally text each other but I do talk to him on the phone some too. Phil is a awesome guy with a big heart & he is a awesome guitar idol for sure!

Holy Shit! I managed to buy that magazine just this afternoon.

While I did not spot the Custom Shop logo on the headstock right away, I did realize that Bela looked waaaay to clean for a 25+ year Dinky. Phil's hand covered the trem cause I was looking for the telltale marks of the Kahler to Floyd swap.

It's then that I looked at the headstock and behold!

Dude, That is a super cool tale for sure!!!!
