      From accumulated research
a rough but pretty accurate spread...

      ~JA0278-JA0337~ is 2003
      ~JA0357-JA0403~ is 2004

JA0357 hang tag inspection date is 1/31/04
so if you have 358 or 359, more than likely an '04
351-356 could fall in either '03 or '04

      Made in Corona California

Is that the CSB in you're sig? or a new one, as I would wonder if that is really BCSB (Burnt Cherry Sunburst) Looks nearly identical to another BCSB AT post buried somewhere in the forum

Very nice. I have a 750XL just like it but with black hardware. I wonder if I should change to gold.

SLATQH's are incredible guitars! I have two, one in trans green and the other trans blue. Yours looks quite stunning! Cool score!
BTW, some SLATQH's have unfinished necks while later production ones are painted. Which do you have?

                  I'd bet finished.
Unfinished seem to run approx between JA0200 and JA0300

Interestingly, mine (232) is the only one I know that had a finished neck among that block of unfinished ones.

I really need to finish what I started with that thread... The currently unpublished full gallery has 1300+ images.
Just need to get them uploaded.
                  Soon...

Congrats that is a beauty . I agree with Roody they are great guitars . I owned a trans green that I bought new and then sold like dummy . I now own a Tobacco Sunburst that I will not sell .

Wow! Again, its a stunning looking SLATQH. Someday I wouldn't mind adding one like that color as well as another in Trans Black to my collection. I wish they never stopped making them.

Mine is CSB and looks lighter in colour than yours, so I'd guess it's BCSB. Fantastic burst and top on yours.

That is the color SALTQH I first wanted. Couldn't find one, so I had to *settle* for my trans red. While I would still love to pick up a BCSB Slat, I am extremely happy with mine!

I love that colour. Mine is a Lefty and I only ever saw 2 for sale, so I got a blue one. It is a beauty too. I have put Tom Anderson pickups in mine and it went from 'fantastic' to 'absolutely fantastic' !!!!
