Why ivoroid binding?

My ivroid binding on my DKMGTFF(which is black) looks real good, especially now that its starting to darken into a cream color.

I think the ivoroid looks fantastic simply with the ebony, on any colour. Maybe on vibrant finishes like Trans Green and Trans Red white would be preferable.
