  • Soloist model from 1993?

    Just looked at the catalog scan for my 1993 USA Lightning Sky Soloist. Did they not call them SL1's then? It says in the 1993 catalog that the USA Series had only 4 regular production models. Soloist Custom, Dinky Custom, Rhoads Custom, and Concert Custom (bass). Then there was the Players Choice series and the Custom Shop. So Is mine "technically" called a "1993 USA Series Soloist Custom with Lightning Sky Graphic"?? Not a SL1? That would be really confusing to say it's a Soloist Custom without it being from the Custom Shop...

    Letter letter number designation did not start until about '95. So you have a Soloist Custom. Not a SL1.
