Someone took the locking bolts and blocks out of the Floyd so it's now a single-locking trem!
And it looks like that trem block is glued in there good!:ROTF:
I'd pass on that thing, too. Looks like ass.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Looks like a production USA Rhoads that someone redrilled and moved the volume pot on. And then dragged it behind their truck for a couple of blocks...
It also appears the whomever blocked the trem spent some time at The Crop before they decided to jizz the cavity full of silicone. If you put a thin piece of wood in the other side and a small dot of glue, then throw on four springs under high tension. It would be just as solid and it takes one tap of a screwdriver to reverse.
If you want a solid tail Rhoads get an RR1T. That one needs a bunch of time, effort, and cash to be made right.GTWGITS! - RacerX

Jesus christ, that guitar has seen alot of atrocitiesDepending on how easy the horrible trem block glue mass is to get out maybe $600 tops? A fellow on ss.org is selling a much better condition eerie dess rhoads from the same year (same pickups and gold floyd) for about ~$1100 IIRC.
BTW, I've heard that ED flakes off more easily than other finishes, and looking at my 89 student soloist I can definately believe itOne of the whole sides is pretty much all primer.
