Walk away. The horrible "mods" and "fixes" carried out on this guitar is a tell-tale on the extreme ignorance of a previous owner. Everything he did to that guitar, including stuff you don't see in the pictures, is done with a total lack of understanding of everything mechanical.

I wouldn't pay more than $600USD for that. You figure how much it will cost to bring it back up to a playable condition...Comment

At no point should it be called a trem. Because the unit NEVER could produce a tremolo effect. It is capable of producing a vibrato effect, which is a totally different effect.Originally posted by DonP View Post

Take up the argument with Leo Fender. He's the one who couldn't get the terminology correct.
And you know what else pisses me off? Pickups never have GAIN!!! They only have output. I can't count how many times I cringe when someone says "I need a high gain pickup" or similar.Comment
