What is the neck profile like on the DK1?
Is it the Soloist/ RR shape, the Speed neck or something different?

Been a while since I played a speed neck, but it's closer to that than a Soloist. It's a flat D, and obviously the oiled finish makes it feel different again...Popular is not the same as good

Yep, a little thinner than a Soloist neck, but just a little.
Actually really close to a Model-series neck (like a Model 2) with a gun oil finish like a Pro Mod. Pretty slick.Comment
