Big thanks go out to Red Dave and all at the Jackson Custom Shop for a killer guitar, and to Matt at Matt's Music for a great deal and great service, as always.

Very cool Pat - they make a great pair. There's a great mix of a new vibe with old school in those specs. Awesome!

Awesome! Love all the specs. looks like they gave you some nice wood on that one. The fingerboard looks nice! Try the schaller locking tuners on your next build. The knurled knobs are wider and a lot easier on the hands when you lock them down.

Said it many times; few people can spec out a custom order as nicely as you do, sir.

Wow! Loving that quilt. And the top and back binding is pure class, congrats!
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

Not a fan of the Kelly, but those are both really nice. I do like the flat top more than the beveled top. Great choice on the pups too...I dig the Custom/Pearly Gates setup.

I really love the custom shop kellys. I could go without the smaller inlays but i know they have there fans. The flat top kellys just have a look to them that crosses territories and blends vintage and modern in just the right ways. IF i were to ever get another kelly it would have to be a flat top.

I have tried them, and totally agree. The fatter knob on the Schallers is definitely easier on the fingers. Both are great but the shafts on the Sperzels are a little stiffer and less likely to move so, IMHO, they have a small edge in tuning stability.

I consider that high praise, my friend.

                          Thanks all.

Friggin phenominal! I love just about anything with a bound body, and a killer top!

Whats up with the tip of the headstock though, did they do a crappy job masking off the tip or is it a reflection? I cant tell, but I have seen that before on a few USA's.

How long did that one take?
