Hey, I forgot to mention something else. This came with one of the new-style SKB cases.

Now, before someone asks "Why no G&G? Is Jackson getting cheap?", it's because I spec'd this guitar to come with the SKB on the work order. I love the G&Gs, too, but unfortunately have fallen victim to shipping damage with them once or twice before. Anyway, I digress...

The new SKB cases are very cool. The TSA latches seem pretty good, probably better than the old metal ones. And, more importantly, the outside shell of the new cases are a LOT more sturdy and hard. As compared to the old-style SKBs, almost none of the "flex" you might see in the middle of the shell. The only downside I see is that the case is no longer rectangular. Instead, they're molded into a shape roughly emulating the outside of the guitar. Cool looking, but the case is definitely less stable if you're standing it up for storage - a minor annoyance.

Overall, IMHO the new SKB cases are a big improvement over the old ones.

And, point of clarification - I believe Soloists and Dinkys still have a rectangular shaped-case, but new SKB style. I think the non-rectangular cases are only for "pointy" body styles like RRs, KEs, KVs, etc.
