Soloist SL1 Serial Number

Hey everybody,

I just got my first Jackson (Soloist SL1 with transparent black finish) a few months ago, and I'm loving it. I got it used from the Guitar Center in Rockville, MD, and now I'm just curious as to when it was made. I believe the Jackson site only has Serial # info through 2001, and apparently this forum is the place to turn for help.

So here's the big question for you Jackson gurus -- What year is my SL1 with serial # U09504?

Just going by production numbers in previous years that would place that one around mid-2002. Someone here will chime in with a more concrete answer eventually.

Based on my list of serial numbers, your completion date is somewhere around late April or early May of 2001. I have another soloist on my list that is within 10 guitars of your serial # and that one was finished 5/7/01. Hope that helps.
