Snagged this one about a month ago for a decent price. I initially bought it with the idea of reselling it but after playing this guitar, that's going to be hard to do. Ahhh, pre-Fender Jackson at its absolute finest. One of the best playing US made Jackson's I've ever been fortunate to play and I've had a dozen or so. I've always preferred strat shaped guitars based on practical reasons (no neck dive/not awkward playing sitting down, etc), but this one is pretty easy to live with. For years I've been on a quest for a guitar without a Floyd that I actually like and I think I've found it with this one

personally I havent found many disadvantages lately to fender owning jackson. You still can get a lemon hear or there but for the most part I think quality has been pretty consistent. Plus pricing has been pretty stable. Not like when bc rich was taken over and the guitars doubled and tripled in price.

You can always embed lead counterweights in the body for the neck dive issue.
This one looks pretty sweet!_________________________________________________

Congratulations usadk1, definitely the KE1's are among the best looking guitars Jackson has ever produced. I hate myself for not buying one back then when they were available, what an idiot I was. ...
A TBK with a quilted maple top KE1 was one of my dream guitars, and still is.-Metal wouldn't be the same without Pointy guitars-
