Well the new USA SL1T Soloist is here! WOW!

Well this is my first Jackson. And I always wondered whether there really was a difference between highend Jacksons and low to mid range guitars. Well there is. This thing is flawless. It just feels different than my non-USA guitars. I know that sounds weird but the finish is better, the knobs on the pots turn with no grinding. But anyway here it is, its still cold from the Fedex truck.

Not sure what CS means, sorry. But it is a thru body as far as the strings go. Thx for the compliments everyone. Ordered it Aug 13th. As of 2010 the USA Select SL1T became a, "build when ordered model". When I initially saw the SL1T on the Jackson website, it wasnt listed in the 2010 price list. But it does have a model number. I called Fender and asked them why the T was shown on the website but wasnt listed in the 2010 pricelist. The guy I spoke with didnt know and called Jackson and called me back in a few minutes and told me the guitar was made a, build when ordered model and werent being built as a stocking model any longer. So I put in an order for the Gun Metal Gray and here it is.

CS = Custom Shop . And for the string ferrules they are identical to my SL2HT .

Oh sorry, no its a build when ordered model. So its about as close to custom as you can get I guess.

Huh? The holes are the same on every Jackson string-thru model, import or USA, except for the RR1T which has the V plate.
