Huh? The holes are the same on every Jackson string-thru model, import or USA, except for the RR1T which has the V plate.
Regarding the SL2Ts, you're right. I couldn't even remember how they were on my own guitars - and they are standing right next to my desk But they are not like that on the KV2T, though, so you can add another model to that list of exceptions
I remember you making the topic about the SL1T back when you first ordered it. I wondered if it had arrived yet. I wish I had the money to order one for myself because GMG and no trem would be my exact preference for an SL1 at this point in time. Yours is absolutely beautiful!! Congratulations!!
Wow, thx total. Yeah it actually got here about 3wks early. I agree about the GMG, its understated elegance. I know thats not a very "metal" description, but I play different styles of music and was never one that believed certain styles of music could only be played with certain brands of guitars. Im 48 and probably not going to be joining any death metal bands soon, and I doubt if ozzy is gonna call and say, "this new guy just isnt working out", I need ya. As far as the hardtail, I like being able to tune on the fly. I have two charvels with floyds and im not a guitar tech so once those tunings are set they're not changing. I hope you can order one someday because they are definitely worth every penny.

I've actually been to Sylvania a couple times. My best friend's parents lived there and just moved back to Cleveland. So I've made the trip with him for that and I also saw Ratt play at the Harley dealership in the summer of '09 - cool show!
