My dream Jackson guitar already exists - that CS Extreme Saturn Warrior sold by Fullers.
    Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

      Two come to mind immediately.

      1-

A Mahogany Soloist with a 1/2" spalted maple top w/matching headstock.
Mahogany neck, bound birdseye maple fretboard with abalone sharky inlays and Jackson logo.
OFR with brass bock. 1 vol, 1 tone. Black hardware.
2H - BKP Painkiller (b) Cold Sweat (n), Sperzel tuners.

      2- Extreme warrior.
Alder body, maple thru neck, ebony fretboard w/ custom made red "Thulsa Doom" logo from Conan the Barbarian (the two headed snake symbol) inlays.
Deep red snakeskin paintjob. Black headstock w/red Jackson logo.
OFR with brass block, 1 vol. Red chrome hardware.
1H - Seymour Duncan blackout (b) (red... redout?).

I realise I would have to sell a kidney for that one.
      And I would!
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.

my dream jackson would be a XTRR or RR1 with a purple flame or quilt top on mahogany body, Skull pile inlay like on mcnaught guitars, Solid Titanium floyd rose thats been colored with a torch, emg pickups, five piece mahogany/purpleheart neck with a volute. Neck and headstock bound in anodized purple Titanium strips. ebony fretboard. Stainless jumbo frets. Jackson logo inlaid with the same purple Titanium. Purple anodized sperzel keys with black pearl buttons. The back of the guitar would be black stain and the top would be the only purple stain.

Mine would have to be pretty simple, A two hum soloist neck through, Flatop-flame or quilt top, with the hand written jackson gold logo done in either a solar burst top, or tabacco burst. tremolo would either be a floyd or a vtrem. Gold hardware/brass.

So sort of like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...customs001.jpg

That is one of mine I would like to have its twin but as a hard tail .

                      Mahogany body and neck
Quilted maple top 10mm thick to see some tone benefits from having the top
Transparent Purple Burst with see through finish on the back and neck , natural binding from the quilted top . So like a Anderson drop top or Carvin C66 .
                      Black hardware standard SL1-SL2HT bridge
Ebony board with Ivoroid binding and reverse shark fins and matching headstock
                      22 fret 24.75 scale
                      Old school SD route
Pickups would be Pearly gates , I know not very metal but I more of a 80s and classic rock guy now a days .

I would get close to LP tones without any of the LP draw backs with playability.
                      Mike
                      --------------------------------------------------------------------
                      SLS TG // SLATQH TSB // 2 CS Soloists both 24.75 scale // 5 Archtop PROs //

Has anyone got a decent picture of that NAMM 27" scale War Kelly? I'm pretty sure that's my dream guitar right there.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

I saw a custom shop one off, with fantastic spalted maple body and neck, with Alien symbol inlays in the fretboard... Killer! I think it ran about $6500.00! Ouch..
