there's a cool little story about this guitar
My dad got this guitar in the 90's from some drug dealer that was my uncle friend and he asked my dad if he wanted to buy it for $200! ( he must of needed his heroin or something)
and it sat in my dads basement forever and my basement flooded and the guitar got ruined so me and my dad took it too get fixed and this is what it looks like.

    So whose is it now?

BTW, this would be called USA Rhoads, the Letter-letter-# designation didn't happen until around 1995-6.

    What's the serial #

          Jesus Christ...

What RacerX is trying to ask is:

          Does the guitar belong to:
          a) Your dad,
          b) Your uncle,
          c) The drugdealer,
          d) You?

Also what he's trying to tell you is that if it is indeed a '93 Rhoads, it's not an RR1 since they didn't start calling them that till '95 - Hence, Letter-letter number designation.

Also, the serial number won't be on the receipt Sherlock; it'll be on the guitar, more specifically the fretboard.

          EDIT:
Oh and not only are your photos pretty shitty, you didn't GTWGITS

It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

Jus' so ya know, after the 22nd fret, on the little bit of fretboard wood left after, and before the binding (the white/off white strip surrounding the fretboard and headstock), there will be a serial number stamped with 2 letters and 4 numbers (XX####). It will help tell what year your guitar was built. The reciept may say '93, but it may have hung on the wall at (insert lame, big name music chain store here) for several years before it was bought, or it my have been bought second hand by said dealer.

Edit- almost forgot, it should say Made in USA, after the Jackson logo or it could be an import. Pics please. er, GOOD pics please!

That's odd that the drug dealer dude would have the receipt. At least it wasn't stolen.

I have a 1995 with those pickups. If yours is really a 1993, that must be one of the first ones with those pickups because I have a 1992 and it has Jackson pickups.

Was it Uncle Jack from the Motley Crue song? Did he touch you, too?

                              U02169? Sounds like it's a 1993 made in Ontario
