NGD! Jackson Custom Shop SL2HT!!

Well, although I told myself I wouldn't buy anymore guitars...I stumbled across this one locally. It is a Jackson Custom Shop SL2HT CHL (Chlorine Burst). Ebony fretboard, EMG 81/85 set up w/18v wiring directly from custom shop. This one is #5/10, dead mint, and has the painted back of the neck.

I was offered it as a trade for my beat up RR1 that has sat untouched since I picked up a couple of soloists. I have all Floyd USA Jacksons so I figured why not try a string-thru! Plus, I have 2 SL2Hs with Duncans, so I figure EMGs in one would be a cool change!! Once again, the quality of this one is amazing. Jackson guitars never disappoint!!

Cool. I have 2 RR1's and 1 SL2H all floyded. I might have done the swap as well, but I'd have to think it over, go back, go forth, maybe sleep on it overnight

Is that neck to custom specs? It looks really thin from the side views. Or is the same as other soloist necks?

I believe the neck is standard soloist specs. It feels pretty much the same, maybe a tiny bit different (but most of my soloists vary a bit). I'm definitely thrilled about the guitar. I did have to add a bit of cash on my end considering my RR1 was production and in pretty bad shape (would pretty much need a refinish), but considering the same guitar from the same run just sold for $2500 USD on eBay, I think I got a great deal!! It's not quite as good as some of you guys who find these wicked USA jacksons at pawn shops for nothing....but considering Jacksons are very hard to come by used here in the north, I feel lucky!
