I just got this from craigslist, needs alittle work but still its a USA. the headstock looks like the front has been shattered, scratches in finish I dunno if Headstock front is fixable, is it?? From the serial its from 1993. Can anyone tell me alittle more? Kind of pick ups? I got this and a line 6 15 watts amp, all for 475. woohooo, my second USA jackson from CL. woohoo

The EMG pickups... the bridge should be an 89 since it's got a copper/reddish logo, and the neck is an 85 since it's got a gold logo. Pull them out and look at the labels on the back. And the 89 will be able to coil split by pulling up on one of the pots. Nice score!

Mike Learn is one of the old custom shop artists, he's got his own company called learnguitars and he's known as Headroller on the forums, does some absolutely sick finishes and could probably re-do that lightning sky finish exactly as you have it now. http://www.jcfonline.com/members/14756-Headroller
