Soloist work order list

I have an 86 soloist and would like to track the work order number does anyone know a link to look at a list of the work order #'s

But what do you mean "track the wo #"? Like see what the specs were and such? Or who ordered it, where it was originally sold? Or do you mean what the actual number is on the guitar? Is it in the trem cavity?

Not sure Heinrik's list goes into 86 does it?
Not going to get it from Fender because they don't have it would be my guess.

It goes to mid '85 just for the first 1000 pcs. My Kelly Custom is #1114 and it's off the list.

So you can't find any specific WO guitar info about early Ontario guitars. OUCH! Could someone please give me some generic build info for the 87-88 time frame then?

Such as: Could you order your guitar without Jackson pups, and with aftermarket one's like EMG's? Also, did all guitars that came with A JT-6 use a Kahler style after the nut lock? I have an odd/interesting situation with a locknut mounted on top of a full truss rod cover (not an arrowhead) to raise it for the nut slots. :think:

Nothing is set in stone, but typical for that era would be Jackson pickups (oversize humbucker at the bridge) and JT6 bridge with string lock (like a kahler, but big screws not allen wrenches) which as you've noted is mounted on the trussrod cover. So yours sounds pretty typical...

it used to be nice when they would send you info on guitars, here what they sent me like 10 yrs ago. the guitar has a 1 3/4" nut and a very flat neck profile. i got it from the original owner and was ordered/sold at Huntington, NY Sam Ash, not Huntington beach, CA.

no thats not normal from what ive seen, they either cut the truss rod cover so the lock would mount directly ontop the headstock or had a thin piece of plastic like you described that matched the foot print of the lock.

If that's stock it should be earlier than '87. Usually San Dimas era customs had kahler lock behind the nut screwed through the truss rod cover. Mine is.
