The Dinky arrived at my office today. Very sweet. Acoustically it sounds pleasing - won't be able to 'rip it out' until late this weekend. It will need a grind & polish on the frets. This guitar was 'played'. Fretboard is dirty as a 'player' comes. Not sure how to handle cleaning it since it has those eyeball inlays. Will have to do some research on here and on the interwebs. I'm lucky, for a 'player' the headstock tip is intact and only one or two minor dings/chips.
Just noticed also the jack input. It's one of those reverse inputs (like lynch or aldrich). Reminds me of an Aldrich model a lot. Or even a Caparison. Not sure what to call it. First I thought "Grimace" - that giant purple gumdrop-shaped McDonald's character. Then I thought 'Barney'. It's all depends on what it sounds like plugged in. Maybe I'll just call it "The Purp" as in 'perpetrator'. Overall nice score. A valentine's gift for the one I love....me!Last edited by GuerillaPete; 02-11-2011, 07:04 PM._______________________
