To me, the body profile at the rear strap pin is way too round to be a Jackson or Charvel body. It should be almost flat for several inches, but this one isn't. It may be the angle of the pic, but...

My SLS3 is "flatassed" like that blue one. My NASLs and my SLS Custom have "roundbottoms" like the red one.
Going through my old "disowned" pics, the 650XL and the RoadRunner Strat were rounded, while the Dinkys (USA and import), Fusions, Charvel Models, and J6147 Archtop were flat.
By comparison, one MexiStrat was flat, the other looks rounded.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

New pics here. No major clues, other than it is a Jackson and not a Westone (thanks for floating that out there though, John! ) I was hoping to see the year, but no luck. At least I've got matching WO numbers, which always puts a spring in my step. There are no markings in the neck pocket.

This was disclosed, but the gnarliest issue with this guitar is the headstock. I looks like they put the hardware on before the clear coat was dry. I've got to believe this got worse over time, but still looked like shit when it left the factory. If my tech can't reclear poly, I may send it off. I'm unsure if it is Poly-E or Poly-U.

So here's the neck pup. It looks like "5R" on there, but it is hard to read. The only 5R I can google on the interwebz is a Tom Anderson VA-5R. That could be it I suppose. It's around 14 Kohms. I'm not aware of any Jackson single coils that would be a match.
EDIT: Argh, that TA pup looks to be a four-wire pickup...

It seems that I was wrong. Cool, I'm glad it looks to be all original.

OK the pup might be a non-logo'd reverse-polarity wound version of the SSL-5
Hand-crafted electric guitar pickups, acoustic guitar pickups, bass pickups and pedals. Helping musicians find their signature sound since 1976.
I understand these are referred to as the "5R". The ohms are about right. The way the connector wire is looped looks right, too. Mine has pickup tape, though, which looks different._________________________________________________
