DK1? The older DK1s were H/S/S but they only had 22 frets.

To me it looks like a JT-590 route which is shorter as the JT-590 has shorter locking bolts, this might be what he means by "korean" floyd. The 94-95 catalog has a Dinky custom with 24 frets L500-XL bridge pickup, & JT-590 bridge, control layout looks correct.

I would ask if he had the original bridge still as you wont be able to do pull ups with the floyd installed as it will hit the body

            Also, like the intonation setting!

Serial number would help to verify this, hope this helps!

Damn your eyes Joe Yeah, it's not a DK1 is it? I guess a fusion or some other dinky variant...

I wondered that, but figured it was a trick of the camera angle. An OFR route is a full centimetre longer than a 590 route, so I'd expect those bolts to really overhang, not just look like they kinda might touch the edge..

I thought that too as there is a big difference in the route size (OFR vs 590), however as the saddles do not appear to be intontated (i.e. are all in a straight line) I figured this was why it didnt seem to overhang so much

happy to be proven wrong, cheers!

I haven't gotten the SN yet, still waiting.

Even if it was an original HSS setup, wouldn't it still have the wood between the SS routes? It just looks funny with that big gap in there. He's gonna let me go check it out, and if I do, I will take some more pics of the routes, and the bridge.

I asked if he had the old bridge and he said he had it packed in a box somewhere.

I don't know if I will actually buy it, but now it's a challenge to just find out what the hell it is.

True, but I f'ing hate pickguards

If I could get it cheap, I would add some wood and get it refinished, but he wants $600 for it. It's not worth that much to me

That's definitely a 590 route. It's a 1994. Look at the one with the skulls. Sucks, dude butchered it up. http://audiozone.dk/guitargallery/?c...4-95Page20.jpg

Actually, after eyeballing it some more, the route looks like there maybe some filler in there. This possibly could have been an factory ofr, but why fill in that space? Then again, why route the body like that. LSD was big back then, so you never know.

This is not my guitar and I don't know the seller, but if you are looking for a nice Dinky at a good reasonable price, check this out:
