Jackson 12-string questions

For those with a Jackson 12-string (or 10 string Spitz?), is there a special trussrod or other neck-stiffening used on them?
And can someone post a closeup of that headmounted string retainer they use for the other 6 (the ones that tune down by the tail)?

Those just go through ferrules on the headstock don't they?

Some do, but others (doublenecks mostly) that I've seen had what appeared to be an inverted spring claw on the head behind the nut that the 7-12 strings were anchored to.

Here's a photo I saved from an old auction. I don't know if they used anything special on their 12-string necks. My initial response is no, but I have nothing to back that statement up. I don't know if any manufacturers do anything special for 12-strings:

Rickenbacker uses double truss rods, but that's on all models.

My Surfcaster 12s just have the standard single trussrod- nothing extra at all.
