i'm not a guy that needs a 24 fret neck, but for the love of god, soloists should have 24 fret necks.

Now THAT is the neck I've been trying to describe in my Limited Edition bombardments. If it had 24 frets and he was anywhere near me, it would be sold.

Weird that it's an Archtop but has a "J" serial. Never seen that on a Custom AT Soloist. All have had the "JA" serials...

Three things I would change about it:

I'd make it a non archtop

Add two more frets

Change the Kill Switch to a coil splitter for the bucker

Other than that its pretty much win

Its something with the combination of chrome and black that just seems wierd. I dont know, if the guitar had 24 frets and wasnt archtop and had black hardware, then I think it wouldve looked much better. This just seems like a odd soloist

Not much on the black binding to be honest.
Love the fact its 22 fret and a 3 piece neck with a reverse head that is cool.Abalone is much nicer than black sharkies I could live with that.
Yeah push pull for tapping the humbucker would suit me better.Hum Sing config is my fave.
Pretty sweet guitar tho'.
For that price I could pick up a sweet old SD Charvel.

yeah, the abalone on the maple is ugly as hell. The archtop with the "dimpled" knobs is funny looking too.
