    hello,

is are some pics of my new custom shop. It is all Koa Soloist, 24.75 scale, all 24 frets scalloped, heel & horn scalloped, both pickups angled, Flush floyd with routed pulled up, spec. neck .750-.810, eighties logo, one vol, one rotory pickup selector. Pics are not the great.

Nice, but I'm curious about a couple of things:
    1. Why angle the pickups? Trembuckers came about to alleviate the spacing difference between a standard-spaced humbucker and a Floyd. Neck pickups have never been bothered by F-spacing.
    2. Why a full scallop and not just the higher frets?

    Not bashing, just curious.

      Hey man,

      1. I just like them angled and I think it looks good.
      2. With my old age and arthritis it is easier to play.

      Thanks Shane

Looks sweet - simple and elegant!
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Very nice! Is it me, or is the headstock a little thinner?

Looks great. The only blaring thing i see is that the action is Really friking high. And i like High action but that looks over much.

Optical illusion due to the larger logo?

Maybe. Though, I do seem to remember a comparison of a couple old Dave Mustaine Vs that did have thinner headstocks at one point...

Looks great. Cool chunk of wood. How does it sound?

I'm guessing the bridge is a Super D?
