Got to wonder if that guitar's been stolen at some point; to end up being so badly repainted to disguise it, perhaps? Particularly if there's no numbers...

It's got the serial number on the plate and the numbers in the neck pocket and neck match so I think its good...just no appreciation from previous owners. I'm toying with the idea of doing a full restore. All I need is a guitar shop with someone on contract that's good with an airbrush. A fret job wouldn't hurt either, but I'm on the fence. I don't know of any good luthiers or paint shops in Western Ma. Plus, I picked up a couple of Charvels this past month so the guitar fund is EMPTY.
