Been thinking of picking up a used KV2.

    Have a gibson V & like it. Have several soloists (sl1 & sl2) & love them.

Any info on what the neck is like on a KV2?

What's a good price for a used KV2 these days?

The KV2 has the Speed Neck, the same as the KE2.
It's a little thinner and wider than the Soloist's neck.

Although I've been used to RR's necks for a long time, the Speed Neck has proved very confortable and easy to get used to.

The neck is great. Plays like a dream.
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.

A little thinner back profile, but the fingerboard is not wider.

KV2 also comes with medium frets vs jumbo.

True. And Jackson finally updated the specs on their site to say medium now instead of jumbo.
