Go to stewmac.com and get their metal rings. They fit just fine. I've got them on all my Jacksons. The flat ones will be high enough for the guitar if it's got an OFR. If not, you need the angled ones.

It has the longthrow poles so it should be. Does it not say Floyd Rose Original on side opposite to the trem arm?

My RR1 has identical rings on the bridge and neck, not staggered or angled. Each is 3-5mm thick measured by a mark I eyeball.

Grats on the guitar, that was one of those ones I see in the classifieds and then get sad that I'm not wealthy.

If the RR1 has a trem period the flat rings are fine. If it's a fixed bridge you need angles. Wasn't sure if the pictured guitar was the actual one you were buying or not so I wanted to specify.

I have a '95 RR1 that came stock with the same OBL pick-ups, and the rings are narrower than the standard ones.
As I wanted to swap for Di Marzio Evolution, I asked Dave from Frets on the Net (http://www.fretsonthenet.com/) to make the right rings for me. Dave is a great guy and does an excellent job.

have not seen budman on the board here for a while, and have bought lots o goodies from him in the past,
i'll give him a holler once its here (tuesday) and i figure out what the final bling plan is going to be
i might go crazy and put a gold control plate on, little diamonds on the top of the control knobs and spinners in between the knobs and plate.

i was thinking evolutions myself but i wont be sure till i hear what the lawrence's sound like
