  • logos question

i know how people hate logoing neck that arent what they are, I do as well but, is it wrong to put a Jackson logo on a Jackson woodburn neck. chances are it wont be attached to a jackson body. i hate unlogo'd headstocks, & I don't think anybody would question the fact its a mutt.

Well, it IS a Jackson neck after all; I don't see an issue with it. It's not like you're putting a Jackson logo on a Musicraft neck.

      Agreed.

But I'd put a Charvel logo on it, just to be a dick

As long as you don't try to sell a mutt as an original j/c, stick whatever you like on that bad boy.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

I disagree with that one, but then again, I'm the logo police.

My point being, if you take a warmoth neck and body, slap a jackson logo on it and then put it up on ebay as a jackson, that is wrong.

I completely agree with that statement, but to go a bit further, I think that logoing any guitar as something it's not, regardless of the intent, is lame.
