Well guys, I told the guitar center I wanted the buy:

a Jackson RR1t white w/ pins (retail = $2950)
an Egnater Renegade Head (retail=$999)
and the matching Egnater 2x12 cabinet. (retail=$450)


They gave me a low ball "offer" and I didn't call them back for days.

They called me back today and said they would offer $15% off both the Egnaters and charge $2650 for the RR1T


So Egnater Renegade Head = $850
Egnater 2x12 = $380
RR1T= $2650

Total = $3880 before taxes

fuck my bank account will be drained


Do you think any other place can beat this offer or should I do it?

WantedRR, first try this forum for a RR1T in the for sale section, then check Craigslist in your area, you can pick up a used USA for about 800 to a 1000, scrap the Egnator idea n go with a Marshall JCM 2000 or used JVM, I've seen em for aroung 1500 bucks for the 4 channel and a used Marshall cab for about 400 bucks. Much better rig, slightly used if you search, and it will cost you half what you would pay new? I'm done buying new shit, after I located a USA SL2 that was advertised as "used so it's got marks on it" I got it and there WASN"T a mark on the thing? Cleaned it up and I'll be damned if it isn't the best guitar in my bunch, and I didn't shell out NEW prices for it. All my cabs are used 1960

I've got a MIJ Jackson Rhoads Legend that I plan on selling. It's a bolt-on, string-thru ToM, 1-hum (EMG), with the "RR" pinstripe finish. #10 of 24 pieces. Was a limited run done back in 2005 by Guitar Express. You'd save a ton of loot. PM me if you're interested.

I believe they re referring to the subtle pinstripes, not the full on pinstripes that was on one of Randy's original Concorde V.
BTW I just got rid of my #3 Rhoads Legend.
After getting my Rhoads Pro, Stars Rhoads, and RR2 the Rhoads legend got no play.

Jeez, I think my lightning sky graphic was a $300 option. I wished it was the snow white w/pins. That was a few hundred bucks cheaper at that time. I was with my bud who bought it new @ GC around '96. He wanted that graphic. Anwhoo, later he got a divorce and and I ended up with the guitar..

Ewww. . I just sold my Marshall Jcm 900 8 months ago. WORST AMP I ever had. Thin, piercing tone with no balls. It wasn't until after I bought it that I read all the bad reviews about that amp. I tried other Marshall DSL and JVM and they had no soul and sounded fizzy and sterile cleans..

I have been blown away by Egnater amps. I kid you not, damn near Fender cleans, and sweet, singing distortion for a great price.
