$2600 amp vs $999 amp. I would think so :/

lol. I would get a MArshall Jcm 800 over anything, but too much money

Routing for a Floyd is probably easier. They do it with templates and a router. Aligning the template is the most difficult thing... it probably takes them less than 5 minutes to complete it.

A RR1T has 6 string ferrules on the back, the string-thru plate on the front and the holes for the actual bridge itself. And, it's easier to get a clean route than to drill clean holes. However, the time saved not having to route the body is most likely lost when final assembly is done.

I've never had a RR1 in my collection. Plenty of different Rhoads models but not a USA RR1....

Well, I think by now everyone knows my opinion on RR1T's. You should totally get one Ron, especially if you like the RR shape in general.

+1. RR1Ts rock! I love my gunmetal gray RR1T, and I sometimes miss the black one I had.

I'm surprised the OP hasn't spoken up about this one? He's posted about going back and asking about this and that, he hasn't said, "Shit! save $1900 and buy used and turn around and get that amp?" Either he's serious about the guitar or he's trolling. If I wasn't in on the Ltd PC run I may have picked it up.

got to give a BIG SHOUT to SHREDINATOR, wired him the cash earlier today ,he drove out of his way and met the seller in ashville, checked out and paid for the guitar and is on his way to Kinkos where they are going to bundle it up for me and have it in wilmington tomorrow.

only problem SHREDINATOR said with the guitar is that it SICK!!!!!! He was hyped when telling me about it! minty showroom quality for a 20 year old RRT

                total solid on Nathans part

Congrats! But it's kinda hard to be 20 years old when the RR1T model didn't come out until the year 2000.

From the beginning, Custom Rhoads models were made to order. The production USA Select RR1T didn't come around until 2000

dilexia kicked and thout it was just U0348
i knew i opened the door on that one and realized it after i posted the serial is U10348, so this is post 2000 not 1991 i according to its serial and is an RRT

Congrats Len! I recommend your next purchase be a SD TB-5 for the bridge. No need to touch the jazz in the neck unless you are replacing it with something a little flatter like some kind of PAF.

The Uberschall does this to a lot of amps.

If only for a brief moment it was in my hands! Then off in a box to it's lucky new owner! Only wish it had stayed with me, this guitar was really SICK! One look and I knew! Wow, not been a big dan of non-Floyd Jackson till now? Ummmm maybe someday I get one! I know me and one of my buds was trying to figure how to gather the money and explain it to the girls after both of us just getting USA's within the last month. Save up enough buy, wish, wish , wish, then save up and buy, ect, ect ect! That seems to be the cycle, anyone else do it differently?

                                before it was shipped
