san dimas adrian smith- did it come in black?

Hey guys, just wondering if the adrian smith ever came in black? i was offerened one for sale, but want to make sure it genuine, apparently it was a limited run? did this model of san dimas adrian smith ever come in black? does anyone have any pics of it? i cant seem to find any on the net.

also, how do u guys rate the san dimas adrian smith model? how does it play compared to say a soloist?

Yeah, they've never come in black.

I think they're great guitars, but feel totally different to a Soloist. Which isn't surprising given all the differences...

My guess is, it's a mutt made from an Adrian Smith neck and a Charvel SoCal body.

Sure it's not a Dave Murray sig. strat?? His are black and being a Fender Strat they are strikingly similar in both body shape and headstock. Oh, they do both play in the same band. FYI.
