I have a 94 RR1 and it was in mint condition until it fell off a stage and the top corner of the headstock broke off exposing the tuning peg for the low E. I'm lucky in that the guitar is still perfectly playable. I'm unlucky because the repair is kind of ugly. This guitar has been sitting in a case for at least the past ten years. It has the best neck I've ever played, but I just can't get used to how awkward the RR sits on a strap for me - plus, I'm always afraid that I'm going to bang into things on stage. I have a problem where I get attached to my gear.
Anyway, here's my question: Since it's ugly, it's value is pretty much shot. I'm wondering if I should try to sell it and take whatever I can get for it or just use it as the guitar to light on fire? Or...is something like this repairable? I don't have a pic that I can post, but you may be able to see it on CL, posted two weeks ago in New Haven, CT.
