I have had my share of guits in my 30+ years of playing them.
I have had Jackson Soloists in days past.
I still have my old beater modded 91 Ontario soloist and enjoy it a lot.
And i am looking at a new Soloist, but, different wood, build than what I am use too.
A Jackson USA SL2H-MAHQ Burnt Cherry Sun Burst Soloist Guitar.
And I like this one specifically...

I like the idea of mahogany with ebony board. And may have a good idea of the tonal diffs of compared
to my 91, But would like others chime in please that have a known personal comparison.
$2499. is a lot of coin for this? I wish it had a reverse headstock...

That guitar is sweet. That's retail pricing. I'd try to find it lower, but I'm sure you might have a hard time finding that same one.
