2000 sl1 ?

EMGs wouldn't have been stock for a regular run of the mill SL2H, can you tell if it is the original wiring?

If it is factory wiring, the EMGs + no serial could point to an employee project guitar. Obviously I don't know, but it is just a thought...

I have an 05 SL2H that I bought new from a Jackson dealer that had no serial number on the fretboard. It was on the hang tag. They said they would send the guitar back to Jackson to have it stamped. I never bothered.

If I were you I would keep that email.
