I've owned two old US bolt-ons, and both of them weighed a ton. Sounded great, but really heavy. Were they all like that?

personal experience and i think axeweilder can chime in as well that the 86/87 dinky strats were heavier than when they went straight dinky
reason i say this is cuz the Pepto dinky has to be a couple pounds lighter than my white dinky strat

Love the 80's super strats all were fantastic players.Mine is a tank too but it has a maple body.
