The case part number you're looking for is JCC901 USA-FV. I would call SKB and see if they can track down the specs for those cases and confirm if something they make currently will fit your guitar. It's worth a shot before you commission a custom case.

ED: they make this one as well:

A distinctively shaped case designed to fit 1958 to present day FLYING V® guitars which are manufactured by GIBSON® and EPIPHONE® as well as other V shaped guitars made by such manufactures as Jackson®, Dean®, Ibanez®, etc. This case features plush lining over a molded EPS foam interior to cradle the guitar and provide neck support and a convenient accessory compartment. The exterior is constructed of a nearly indestructible molded ABS polymenr that has been engineered to provide the ultimate protection during transport. This case comes with Travel Sentry® Approved locking latches installed. Using Travel Sentry® Approved locks allows your luggage to be opened, inspected, and relocked by TSA authorities without damage. For more information, visit www.travelsentry.org. Additional features include a nearly indestructible injection molded rubber over-molded cushioned carrying handle with injection molded feet and a bumper protected valance. Gibson Trademarks are owned by Gibson Guitar Corp. and SKB is in no way affiliated with Gibson Guitar Corp.

If it fits one of those god-awful Dean V's as pictured, it may fit your guitar, too.

Thanks again for the info and hint. Sent Email to SKB already. It would be the best if SKB case fits the guitar, since coffen case is not easy to buy in Europe.

I have an SKB case and just tried one of my Y2KVs in it... and the verdict is: IT FITS GREAT. I checked for model number but didn't see one on it. But the inside is routed out for roundhorns. I'm guessing it was the one Argos mentioned above. Just wanted to chime in and say SKB works great

Yep it sure does. Looks like the Jackson cases (sans Jackson logo course) that I've been getting for my King Vs lately. The official Jackson case (and I'm gonna go out omna limb here) is made by SKB as well. Not sure if that's true but they do look alike. The only noticeable difference to me is, aside from Jackson logo on the outside of the case missing, is that the SKB it's carved out for roundhorn horns. The Jackson is pointy only.

                Hope this helps!

I saw a king v case on the Nashville Craig's List yesterday. 40 bucks! No affiliation with the seller.

Please let us know if you get that SKB and how it works out. There have been a ton of people looking for cases for those damn YK's. They must be the most sold USA select guitars without a case.

Just a quick update... I will post photos of the Y2KV in the SKB case so that everyone can get a view for themselves. It actually fits rather nice... Like they had it in mind during product development. I'm on the road until Thursday night so I will take and post photos then
