  • Jakson Soloist SL1T no Made in USA logo

    Hello boys and girls!

I just got a 2010 Jackson Soloist SL1T Hardtail HSS that doesn`t have the Made in USA logo on it.
One of the guys from Support confirmed that it is an US made, but I still don`t get it why it doesn`t have the logo.

    Btw...it`s exceptionally well built ,so I don`t think that`s a fake.

    Here are the pics:

I`d love to have your fed back on this one.

What is the serial number? Should be either Uxxxxx or Jxxxx for a USA made.

I have heard of other USA mades coming through with no logos, so it does happen. I have heard some are mistakes, some are employee projects. Not sure of other reasons, maybe some members here can shed some light on that.

I bet that was just left off on accident. Lol funny to say but it happens. Btw it's not a hardtail. It's a string through with a tune o matic bridge. Had one myself. Killer players.

Would this missing Made in USA logo drop the value of this beaut?

I wouldnt think so. Serial can be confirmed with FMIC so since its legit just makes it a oddball..

Used value still about 1100 on these so not bad.

studies have shown that it increases blues rock chatter. and you will find in time with constant use, those gains dont go away.

                  Hahahaha...good one.
The reason I ask around is because I want to sell it and get the Adrian Smith instead.

To members of this forum, probably not that much. To the general buying public, I would say yes. How much I don't know.

Yes, I`ll see what people offer. If it`s too less, I`ll just keep it. I really like this Soloist especially the neck, which is the best I`ve ever tried.

Disagree. I think it's worth more, at least to someone who collects Jacksons. lol

As to everyone else, it does not affect the value whatsoever.

Do you guys know what kind of Vol and Tone pots are installed on SL1 HSS?
I did try to figure it out but there is soldering on the top of the etching.
Are they 500k or 250k`s by default?

                            Many thanks in advance!
