  • This one is for Corpsegrinder88: RR2639...

[EDIT - I'm so burnt out]
I've had this for over 3 years - not 1-1/2. Yikes! And never photographed it until now. Well, here ya go. You have Bob to thank for making me snap some pics. She was in a pawn shop in CT when a buddy alerted me to the auction. Overall, nice player. Some minor tip scars: top wing mostly and a small one to the back of the headstock tip, otherwise she be clean:

[Sorry Bob, not for sale/trade at the moment. But you have first dibs if/when I do]

Kinda hard to photograph the metallic red finish - especially at 1am coming home from a show, but here's a close-up:

    Tip with a mediocre touch-up:

    Very nice!

You just had a real baby, Bob. Don't think you want a 'butt-baby'.

Bob, don't you have same RR but as a 2-hum?

Thanks Neilli. Figured a V-connoisseur, such as yourself, would dig the matching painted face on the headstock.

Damaged tips aside (meh, shit happens) that is f'in hot!

I look at that and think, this guitar is just built to rock people's faces off, plain and simple.

            What pickup is in it?

Beautiful RR. The chips in the paint just give it character.

It's very rare (read: pretty much impossible) to come across a second hand RR without damaged tips. That is one of the nicest looking RRs i've seen, so simple and clean.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

I haven't pulled it out to check, but it does sound like a JB to me. Might get changed to something hotter.

Very nice! Would be nicer if it were rear-routed, though.

Great guitar..Its weird about the tips. I hae owned a bunch of Rhoads over the years and NEVER chipped a wing, but every used one has damaged tips. What the hell do people do to them?

-They rock out so hard they forget how long that top wing is and it gets slammed into walls, drums, mic stands, amps, lead singers, etc

-Not everybody has the correct stand for RRs, leading to damage

If that guitar was a pancake, it would be a very good pancake.
