Shannon Soloists

I have a friend looking at selling his BGF Shannon Soloist. What's the market looking like on these nowadays? Seems they fetch pretty big buck over on the Bay, but don't show up often enough to really get a feel.

The extras of the Shannon Soloist appeal to those who love the Jacksons from the 80s as the specs are more suited to match guitars from that era. Otherwise you can just grab any SL1 and rock out for the same price with just a small difference in specs.

I love my Shannon. Though i am tempted to trade it for a PC1. would that be a good deal?

In my world, yeah, but I prefer bolt ons, and I've never been too crazy about the neck profile on the Soloists. It better than many, but not my favorite. I'm pretty happy with the Charvel necks on the SD's, and really like the 60's neck profile on the Les Paul's.
