Jackson USA Bound Flat top

I have had this strat for years, swapped it from the original pointy neck to a Musikraft Strathead a few years ago. Here is how she looked yesterday;



I have had the Jackson bound, ebony MOP dots neck laying around. I almost sold it a few times. Today I married the body and neck back together and added a Gold Floyd I had.







Almost like a NGD I still need to set the intonation but she plays well and sounds great.

that is the beauty of bold on necks. You can always change things around and put them back if you get tired of it, sort of what I did.

That is a beautiful axe! I like it better with the Jackson neck, personally.

originally had a Jt-6, I added the chrome floyd. I went gold this time because I had it sitting around, I think I like te chrome better

Good call on the JT6 swap, but yeah, I was thinking chrome as well.

Thanks guys. I have not played any of my other guitars since I bought my Les Paul about 3 months now (love the thing).

I had a hard time putting it down. I missed this neck, its been a few years just sitting. It feels great. I'm glad I put her back together. I think I'll pimp her more with a gold pickup cover and maybe a pinup girl. Might make it in my top 2-3 Eb'ers
