Were the necks on the earlier models thicker/thinner/same as the current ones?

I played one and liked it quite a bit, especially the sustainer, but the neck scared me off and I bought a Taylor acoustic instead. I think now that I would adjust to the neck pretty quickly. I'm not good enough that the neck size/shape really makes a difference in what I play in the short term at least hehe.

I find that the earlier ones were actually a tad bit thicker.
