something about this past week, every pic i take has a piece of my finger in it. roger waters on friday at yankee stadium. recording my cousins band dirt road redemption on saturday in brooklyn at joey z's studio, and doing nothing but relax till right now. back to work in the am....... ughh....

I used to use the black Elixirs, they look really cool but the coating does start to come off after a couple of gigs. Might get some red ones, they'll look very cool on my Kelly (Kellys, when the black one arrives!)

i put a set of yellow ones on a RR24 Black/Yellow.

pretty cool but they dont last long. LOL they turn black and color goes pretty fast.

they sound/feel ok to me so far, i havent gotten to play for real yet though..... i have a feeling youll be right though, but looks cool for now. i love this guitar so much, sometimes i just sit and stare at it. freakish i know...

joey recording my cousin ken from the pa. band dirt road redemption this past sunday. joey is doing the bass track tonight. then gotta mix it and all that fun stuff. we shot a video that day, cant wait to see it all come together.....

yeah it was gunna be called the jzlp but never happened the band fell apart right after that. the singer quit and they got the guy from ugly kid joe to fill in. years and yeqrs later they got it all back together better then ever, now i think they are done for good.

not at first. but after you keep playing it gets real sore. its my ring finger on my right hand that has a week spot. opens up when i rock to hard, thank god for booze, eases the pain....... thats my 79 lp custom, probably the best playing guitar i own. was joey z's "#4", was used to record "soul searching sun" and everything after {the reunion dvd at irving plaza etc..}.... i was 4 years old when gibson built it, now im old as fuck and the guitar is still young.... dave
