That is my favorite trans of all time, I am going to make a few changes to my original plan and I do want to get 2 of these done I think the lacewood is going to be trans black or amber like the one above there.

As much as I like the amberburst I dont think its fitting for the guitar I am doing currently

Aight so i have it settled after researching and talking to a few guys and making some plans here we go.

#1: White Limba with a quilt maple top in the color of wards pink soloist burst single humbucker single volume top mount OFR 22 fret Maple dimas neck reverse headstock

#2: Alder with Flame Maple top in Black Trans HS with recessed Floyd Volume push pull lynch style 24 fret Dk1 neck bound ebony regular headstock

both on this body. I have been in love with this design since I saw it posted from Fullers but I just cant swing 4k for the cancer graphic original. This in my mind is the next best thing. We are also going to work on a few of the other extreme style designs.

here are pix of the first Sl2H i got from a pawn shop for a hundred bucks back in 2005
it started life as a pretty cool hard to capture on film metalic maroon/pinkish.
have never seen another one in this color since.
i have never seen an SL2H get more brutalized by it's owner. gobs of gold paint on everything metal(tuning machines,Floyd etc...) extra volume and tone pot holes and the crème de la crème was the single coil pick up COVER blasted inbetween the hums

no gold paint



turned out ok, wound up selling it to John Lawson
