I have some stuff in the works and looking at different wood types as well.. I am doing a lacewood in trans pink I think but I need some other ideas for wood type and color as well...doing at least 2 to start maybe 3

Ward have you been able to get a good shot of that burst that wasnt in the original post? I am likely using that as the main model for my color on the lacewood.

The monet was intentional i try to make at least one mistake per post to give peolpe something to complain about.

I haven't had any luck the few times I tried. The best pics I have are the ones that Zach took for the original FS post. I think you have some of those, right?

I wish you could see it in person. Zach's pics were great, but in person it comes alive in a way pics can't show.
