  • DK1's w/ reverse heady?

Pretty much sure I already know the answer but aside from CS versions, did Jackson put out any reverse headstocked DK1's?

No, there were no production DK1s with reverse headstocks.

      There was the DR2 though...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Have most of the DK1's been with ebony boards and emg actives?

There were two 'eras' of DK1: the mid/late 90's guitars were 22 frets, h/s/s with Duncans, and they mainly had figured tops and gold hardware. Then in the early 2000s (?) the DK1 morphed into the 24 fret, H/H EMG guitar we have today... But yes, bound ebony with fins has been standard.

I guess it would be named a DR1 if there was one?

My DR2 was the 2nd best bolt on i ever owned.
Great tone and the neck was sweet.
Gave to my son and he ended up pawning it

Is it just me or does the body on the DR2 look smaller than the rest of them? I swear the neck looks wider/bigger and body smaller. Perhaps in keeping with it's moniker of "Dinky"?

Understood but the proportion on the DR2 still looks diff than other dinkys. Maybe I'm just not that attuned to those subtleties.

The chrome hardware on black probably makes it look like there's less room to the edges.

22 fret dinkies also look a bit different because the neck pickup is in a different spot, makes the body look thinner
