I don't want to get into details until I have the guitar in hand, but it looks like it's a go for a trade tonight.

        Second that.

Make sure you include de case on the trade...and if you're persuasive enough, get that guitar hanger also...

        I have a massive GAS for a white RR1...damn...

I used to own that same RR1 back in the day. White body, no bevel coloring. It's legit. Wish I still had that one.

I think it has something to do with the finish. The blue ghost flame RR1 I saw with the black non-matching HS had the white logo, but my RR1T and earlier metallic black RR1 both have the MOP. The BGF one of course still had the MOP sharkies.

I still have a 1992 pure white RR1. Excellent guitar. Although I've had thoughts of "Stryperizing" it

Well, I went and got it tonight. I'll miss my Ibanez, but it's time for something other than a super strat, at least for a little while anyway. It's kind of weird because I wanted to offload the RG to get another Carvin and this RR1 is about the only thing I would have traded for, and it's even the color I wanted.

Everything is legit, it has a MOP logo and inlays, serial starts with U (and matches the card), metal cavity cover/pickguard. It was built in late 2003. I cleaned it up and gave it a run through with my usual 9 - 46's and all is well. I like the JB but I always have to turn the gain up a bit on the amp, it's not quite ballsy enough. No biggie. Only weird thing is to get the action where I want it the trem is pretty far in the body and it won't pull back very far. Then I had to lower the pickups and they are almost below the rings. Again pretty minor but I find it hard to believe if everything was set "normal" that someone would want the action that high. The neck is bigger than my Becker and obviously bigger than the Ibanez, but very playable. I need to get a strap too as playing this thing sitting down is just weird

                  Looks beautiful man, congrats!

Play around with the setup a bit more though, you should be able to get the action pretty low and still have the floyd level.

Yeah, that sounds like the setup is fucked...

Nice score, looks sweet! All you need now is a setup to get it ripping.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

I'm jealous! Of the RR1 AND the Becker!

                        Nice score!

Setup is fine, I've done setups a million times. The only way you could get the bridge higher without the action being too high (for me) is if the neck was angled. I do set the action low as hell though which probably has everything to do with it. It's not really a bad thing, just an observation. The baseplate is about 1.5mm below the top of the body.

Edit - Was just reading another thread here with this pic... Mine is like the same as this, so that makes me feel better .

Uh huh. An easy $300 profit there then...
