Yeah, not liking that too much either. Would look much better all purple and without the ugly double cream and 'who thought this was a good idea' Gibson style volume knob...

I think it would look a lot better with a black floyd/hardware/pickup. The fretboard is cool.

It needs more knobs and switches to look like a bc rich.

While I like that they're doing more natural wood... I mean I LOVE that they're doing more. I just don't particularly care for this one for myself. I don't like the headstock. I think it's pretty cool and someone is going to love it.

Agreed. And yeah, the classic knob really doesn't belong on that. It should receive a black metal dome just as every other Jackson gets.

I even ordered some for my ESP Flying V.

That was my first thought as well. Looks pretty but not to my taste, the wood selection looks incredible though! I love KVs with the SLS headstock, i think that combination works beautifully.
It's all about the blues-rock chatter.

The only thing I dont like about it is the fretboard... even though its not, it kinda looks like a dried up piece of driftwood. I think ebony or flamed maple would have been a much better fit.

If the wings are solid maple, I can sort of understand why they did it that way. But, that top would look better as a basic bookmatched flame maple (that quilty strip in the middle takes away from the appearance IMHO). The knob is ghey, and the no-inlay thing is getting old.

This is one of those things where everything is nice and top notch but it just doesn't work overall. I think they were trying too hard.

According to the description, the wings are koa with maple on the top and the back. I think it's a waste to cover up the koa like that. I do like the guitar for the most part, though.

ditch the maple caps, just use solid flamed koa wings for that price. i think thats the only shape i like that headstock on, i still prefer the regular pointy.
