  • KV1 vs RR1

Can anyone give me a good idea of the sizes relative to each other. I have an RR custom but have never held a KV. Ar the KV wings shorter than the upper RR wing? Does anyone have pics of them next to each other?

Yes, the wings on a KV are shorter than the top wing on a Rhoads. As I recall it's 2" or so...

I had this on photobucket and was too lazy to cut out the other guitars. Not sure if the RR1 and KV2 dimensions are different because of the trem but I still think this puts in perspective. I like the KV but I absolutely love the RR shape for the long horn. I'm biased though, the Jackson RR is my absolute favorite body shape.

The trem only makes the head slightly longer (or rather, they use a slightly longer headstock), so the body dimensions are the same either way.
