I love Jackson strat heads but equally hate tremolos of any kind. Might just sell the body and get a hardtail of some type. i've actually never played a pc1 but heard the necks are beefy. yum. if only it were LH. and for the money if i dont dig it i'll just post it here in the classifieds.

Yeah, it took me a bit to convince myself to pull the trigger.
But how often do you see jackson strat head necks for sale? PC1 necks, no less? Honestly I did it just for the neck. the body is just chedar.
And the "...This guitar is brand new & still has the hang tag..." soothes the gaping hole that is now in my pocket.
all that i need to purchase to get this playable is the floyd nut and the hardtail bridge replacement for the floyd. like everbody else here I have a shoebox full of pickups/vol pots/strap buttons. Anyone got any black jackson tuners they want to trade for the gold ones that this is comming with?
and according to the ad the covers are included.....this one goes to eleven.

Yeah itll fit on any other 24 fret Jackson body. Its not a horrible price but far from good, I mean all the major stuff is there except the sustainer. In reality, $200 for a new Floyd, about $200 in pickups and other odds and ends, you'll have a nice PC1 for around $1500 minus the sustainer... but IMO the sustainer is the best part of those guitars, Ill never part with mine!
But seriously though, who the fuck parts out a brand new PC1? I dunno, something just doesnt seem right.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

The value of all Jacksons are pretty much in the tank. Only a few models command a premium, but those prices have tanked too. I feel sorry for all those hardcore SD and Prepro Charvel guys... some of them sunk many tens, if not hundreds of thousands thinking they'll bank off them only to find a decade later, they're still not really worth all that much. They should have invested in old Gibsons and Fenders.“But does it help with the blues rock chatter?"-Hellbat
