  • Jackson USA SL1 (DK1) from GC.

Picked this up on Guitar Center.com for a pretty reasonable price....they listed it as an SL1 but it's a pre-Fender DK1 with bolt on neck. Fortunately, I prefer bolt on's so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. Nice guitar!

The DK1 is awesome. Love the oiled neck feel. Congrats!

Yeah, I agree. It's also in great shape, consider it a nice score particularly coming from Guitar Center...of course I was expecting a soloist but happy with the results.

Nice! Hopefully you used that listing error to hammer them down on price.

When used to describe period the term "pre fender" is accurate, factual and descriptive. When used to suggest worth it is controversial. Looks like its being used to discuss period here.

Interesting. I thought all the old 22-fret H/S/S DK1 models only had gold hardware and quilted maple tops.

Do I win the guitar if I get the closest price?

                        I'm gonna say $800
